I have uploaded a new version of a file, yet I am still seeing the old version in my browser

Q: I have uploaded a new version of a file, yet I am still seeing the old version in my browser

A: Your web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) will cache pages when you visit a website. This mean it automatically downloads a copy of that page so that if you visit that website again it doesn't have to download all of the data again. Unfortunately this does mean if you have updated your website and are still seeing the old version, you will need to clear this cache in order to view the new page.
